Quality aspects, mixing process

Compound testing has two aspects, one is for quality and the other is for reproducibility of the mixing process. Even though both aspects are intimately related, they will be discussed separately. [Pg.372]

Acidulation is probably the most misunderstood and maligned process in the entire fats and oils industry. The easiest part of an acidulation design is production of acceptable quality acid oil. The difficult challenge is the minimization of the middle phase and creating an oil-free wastewater, which imphes that the facility is to be properly designed from the standpoint of reaction kinetics as well as the mechanical aspects of acid/oil mixing, decanting, and middle phase recovery. [Pg.2393]

Finding proper bitrates and balancing the audio and video are not easy, because you are always going to min your crystal-clear video and your elegantly mixed andio. The trick is to determine the best possible acceptable quality for your target data rate. Audio takes up much less bandwidth than video and, since this is AQD, after all, yon should be able to get pretty decent sound. One other unfortunate aspect of this process is that this experimentation takes a lot of time in rendering. Rendering compressed video is a slow process and there is no way around this. [Pg.247]
