Missing groups

Note the very important MISSING option in the PROC REPORT. This ensures that all of your data actually appear in the printed output. Without the MISSING option, PROC REPORT drops any observation with a missing GROUP, ORDER, or ACROSS variable. The NOWINDOWS option is used because this program is designed to run in batch mode and we do not want to run PROC REPORT interactively. [Pg.187]

In his last years, Dr. Isbell became convinced of the importance of saccharide peroxides as reaction products, and not merely as intermediates. UNIS AC The UNIS AC model is based on a combination of the GC model [13], the Cl model [18], and the NRTL-SAC [7, 8] itself. In other words, a GC model has been set up and developed to predict the NRTL-SAC [7,8] segmental parameters that otherwise would require experimental data when group interaction parameters are missing. Second corner reflection The first corner reflection appears as usual when the transducer is coupled to the probe at a certain distance from the V-butt weld. The second corner reflection appears if the transducer is positioned well above the V-hutt weld. If the weld is made of isotropic material the wavefront will miss (pass) the notch without causing any reflection or diffraction (see Fig. 3(a)) for this particular transducer position. In the anisotropic case, the direction of the phase velocity vector will differ from the 45° direction in the isotropic case. Many surfaces have additional defects other than steps, however, some of which are illustrated in figure A1.7.1(b). For example, steps are usually not flat, i.e. they do not lie along a single low-mdex direction, but instead have kinks. Terraces are also not always perfectly flat, and often contain defects such as adatoms or vacancies. An adatom, is an isolated atom adsorbed on top of a terrace, while a vacancy is an atom or group of atoms missing from an otiierwise perfect terrace.
