Microfiber cleaning cloths The basic purpose of detergents is to bring more water—one of the most efficient solvents in the world—into contact with whatever surface you are cleaning. Microfibers, which are finer than human hair and have amazing absorbency, effectively do the same thing. Used as directed they will leave most surfaces clean and dry. The most effective cloths have densely packed fibers.

Keep a blower brush, a clean camera towel and a microfiber lens cloth in your case, and use them to immediately remove any sand or salt spray. 

PET-nylon-6 are examples of suitable polymer combinations. Such microfibers are frequently used in nonwoven fabrics such as filter materials and specialty fabrics like cleaning cloths for microelectronic components or pobshing cloths for lenses and delicate optical instruments. 

Unvarnished wood can be cleaned and polished easily and beautifully with very simple compounds. A dab of vinegar on a slightly damp cloth is an effective cleaner, while a little light olive oil on a cloth will polish and protect your wood. Or make your own beeswax polish (below). Apply it sparingly with a lint-free cloth (microfiber cloths are ideal) and buff well. 

Hr TVs and computer monitors. Clean screens by wiping them down with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with distilled water. Dust the plastic parts, then wipe down with a vinegar-and-water solution as needed, avoiding electronic components. Use compressed air to dust in crevices.
