Capillary electrochromatography (CEC) using a mixed styrene- and methacrylate ester-based polymeric monolith as separation column and photometric detection (214 nm) has been described for the separation and determination of PG, OG, and other antioxidants [72]. The separation required a two-step gradient method varying the concentrations of acetonitrile in a phosphate solution. The detection limits obtained for PG and OG were 0.09 and 0.31 pg/m, respectively, and the method was applied to the analysis of edible oils. [Pg.253]
