Metallaboranes Containing One Boron Atom and Ions Thereof

7 Metallaboranes Containing One Boron Atom and Ions Thereof [Pg.114]

This section describes several metal-rich monoborane species. The series of compounds includes some which may be considered to be derivatives of BH3 and others which are better described as derivatives of [BH4]. The systems are very closely related and, thus, they are discussed in the same section. Some of the earlier work on metal-rich monoboranes was reviewed in 1987 [1]. [Pg.114]

In some cases more detailed information is available for the trinuclear iron clusters containing nine and ten carbonyl ligands in Organoiron Compounds C 6a, 1991, pp. 295/300 and Organoiron Compounds C 6b, 1992, pp. 69/71, respectively, and for the tetra-nuclear iron species in Organoiron Compounds C 7, 1986, p. 237. [Pg.114]

The IR spectrum (in cm toluene) shows v(CO) bands at 2045m, 1990sh, 1983sh, 1954s, and 1933m. NMR spectral data are consistent with exchange of Fe-H-Fe and Fe-H-B [Pg.114]
