Metal Substituted Triorganotin Halides

This chapter contains triorganotin halides with boron or two tin atoms linked by carbon bridges. The compounds are prepared by the following methods. 

R = organic group, R boron substituted organic group, Y = hydrocarbon bridge. Additional metal substituted triorganotin halides are listed in Subsections 2.7 1.1.3 and 2.7.1.2. 

White cryst., m. 98-97 x-ray struct, analysis (1518, 2l89) NMR spectrum, dipole moment (I518).

The functionally substituted triorganotin halides of this subchapter may contain halogen, cyano groups, oxygen, nitrogen and metal atoms substituted in a carbon chain.
