Membrane Process for N2 Gas

It depends on selective penneabUily rates of different gases through membranes (made from hollow polymeric fibres). Gases such as H2, NH3, CO2, and O2 are able to permeate through the membranes faster than N2. 

The purity required could be 99 % onwards for critical appUcation. 

All pressure parts shall be as designed and fabricated per standard codes (ASME section Vm) while using only catified material of constmction. 

Radiography shall be done for all pressure parts and all connecting piping between components up and the final discharge pipe of N2 if it is taken out imder pressure. 

Post-weld heat treatment shall be done for all welded parts and certified.
