MATI spectra

ZEKE spectra,dissociation and MATI spectra,as well as studies on fluorescence d44 fragmentation dynamics. Many of these are dominated by vibronic effects which occur in a rich variety in this species.

PI spectrum is a plot of ion current versus wavelength of the probe laser. While the PI spectrum shows a simple rise of the curve at IE, MATI and ZEKE yield a sharp peak at ionization threshold plus additional signals from lower vibrational ionization thresholds. 

The MATI signal also allows the study of fragmentation processes. It is interesting that at levels of ion internal energy at which a complex dissociates, the ZEKE spectrum can still be observed. When only...
