Experimental Comparison with Other Techniques. In order to check that the experimental setup shown in Figure 3 met the constraints formulation given in Equation 2, two alternate techniques were used to measure droplet size during selected tests. These were a magnesium-oxide (MgO) coated slide collection method and a single-beam Mie scattering technique.
