Luteolin 7-glucuronide-3 - glucoside

Substantial quantities of luteolin-7-O-glucuronide, luteolin-7-O-glucoside, and luteolin-7-O-rutinoside occur in Red Oak Leaf and Lollo Rosso, two red-leaved varieties of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) [Llorach et al., 2008], Polymethoxylated flavones such as nobiletin, scutellarein, sinensetin, and tangeretin (Fig. 1.8) are found exclusively in citrus species [Crozier et al., 2006c], while diosmetin-7-O-glucuronide has been isolated from the fruits of a Chinese herb, Luffa cylindrical. [Pg.9]

The flavonoids, luteolin, luteolin 7-0-/3-d-xyloside and cynaroside, were isolated by El-Moghazi et al. (1979) and orientin and vitexin by Akunzemann and Herrmann (1977). Quercetin-3-glucuronide, rutin, isoorientin, isovitexin and apigenin-7-glucoside have been reported from aniseed (Ozguven, 2000). Figure 18.2 depicts the structure of flavonoids in aniseed. [Pg.336]

From Melissa officinalis subsp. officinalis luteolin 3 -0-p-D-glucuronide (43) was isolated [128]. In another study with the same plant luteolin 7-0-glucoside (7), isoquercitrin (24), apigenin 7-0-glucoside (19) and rhamnocitrin (238) were isolated [129]. [Pg.274]
