Lovoa trichiliodes

This group, to which limonin belongs, is characteristic of the Rutaceae and rare in Meliaceae. Obacunol (59) occurs in Lovoa trichiliodes (7) and in Carapa procera 183 dihydronomilin acetate (60) in Xylocarpus granatum 16, 142) and 6P-acetoxyobacunol acetate (61) in Trichilia trifolia. The stereochemistry of the 6-substituent in this compound is very unusual, but appears to be correct 201). [Pg.30]
