Let us start with falling in love or romance. It has been known for some time that the love life of insects is regulated by small molecules called pheromones. This is true also for mammals.But, what about love in humans Well, humans may not be an exception to this chemical control of love. Thus, even though the chemical details of the emotional map are not yet worked out precisely, it is becoming gradually evident that emotional life is written in our genes and is coded by specific molecules made in the brain.l l Indeed, our brains are chemically wired. Some of these neurochemicals are neurotransmitters, others are neuromodulators that regulate the
