Leadership leading attitudes

Attitudes reflect the leadership of management or personnel traits of the employees and if not constuctive can lead to negative influences which can precipatate accidents. 

We have to be readily accessible, both in terms of space and time. We have to leave pharmacy offices and go to the patient and the healthcare team. We must clearly and firmly lead all those activities related to drugs because this is the knowledge field of our profession. Leadership has a lot to do with effectively communicating to influence others actions, attitudes, beliefs, and so on. Pharmacy services must relocate themselves strategically as proactive agents in the healthcare team. 

Maintenance leadership must continually develop the skUls, abilities and attitudes to lead maintenance into the future. Maintenance leaders must completely understand the 25 requirements for effective maintenance management and develop priorities for action. Maintenance leaders must create understanding within the organization about maintenance and develop a vision of continuous maintenance improvement shared throughout the organization. 

Toxic leadership is a combination of self-attitudes, motivations, and behaviors that have adverse effects on subordinates, the organization, and mission performance. This leader lacks concern for others and the climate of the organization, which leads to short- and long-term negative effects. The toxic leader operates with an inflated sense of self-worth and from acute self-interest. Toxic leaders consistently use dysfunctional behaviors to deceive, intimidate, coerce, or unfairly punish others to get what they want for themselves (Army Leadership, ADP 6-22, 2012).
