When solutions containing isomorphous (identical crystal structures and sizes) metal ions undergo crystallization they form a new solid, resulting in solid solutions. Metal hydrazine carboxylate hydrates combine with lead to form a solid solution of lead hydroxy hydrazine carboxylate complex.
