The essential oil of Lavandula angustifolia (Lavandulae aetheroleum) is used in veterinary medicinal products for topical use together with other plant extracts or essential oils for antiseptic and healing purposes. The product is used in horses, cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, and poultry.
