Laminate MATLAB or Octave Code

The following example illustrates the use of the composite laminate program. The program is either utilized in MATLAB or Octave from the program laminate.m. [Pg.377]

Assume that there are four lamina that comprise the laminate. The composite material is carbon fiber in an epoxy matrix with the (0/30/45/90) layup. Notice that this layup is neither symmetric nor antisymmetric. [Pg.377]

The input data file for the programs is initially named compdata.txt. Table E.l shows the format of the data file. Thus, specifically the compdata.txt file is shown in Table E.2. [Pg.377]

The load input is prompted from the screen either as loads and moments or strains and curvatures. [Pg.377]

When the laminate program is run, the following text in italics is sent to the screen by the program and the text in bold is the input from the user  [Pg.377]
