Lacquers polyurethane elastomer

To prepare a lacquer of Estane, dissolve 6 grams of Estane 5702 into 480 grams of methyl ethyl ketone. Estane 5702 is a thermoplastic, polyurethane elastomer manufactured by the B. F. Goodrich Co. 

Polyurethanes are used for the fabrication of fibers, while crosslinked polyurethanes are employed as lacquers and adhesives, as coatings for textiles and paper, and as elastomers and foams. 

Use Plasticizer in lacquers and nitrocellulose, production of dibasic acids, lipsticks, polyurethane coatings, elastomers and adhesives, fatty acids, surface-active agents, hydraulic fluids, pharmaceuti-... 

Uses Polymer additive for PVC and rubber, polyolefin and ABS processing, engineering plastics, PU rigid foams and elastomers, polyamides and polyesters, polyurethanes and epoxies modifier (increases flexibility, impact resist., toughness, hydrolytic stability) for industrial coatings (automotive, coil, textile, leather, wood lacquers)... 

Polyurethanes occur as rigid or flexible foams, elastomers, thermoplastics, lacquers, adhesives and can be manufactured as synthetic leathers. The rigid and flexible foam materials applied in bulk give rise to the biggest flammability problems. 

Diaminodiphenylmethane is an aromatic diamine used as a curing agent in epoxy resins of the bisphenol A type, as in the production of plastics, isocyanates, adhesives, elastomers, polyurethane (elastic and rigid foams, paints, lacquers, adhesives, binding agents, synthetics rubbers, and elastomeric fibers) and butyl rubber. Diaminodiphenylmethane is also a by-product of azo dyes. It is also possibly formed by hydrolysis of diphenylmethane-4,4 -diisocyanate.
