Constituents of Pinaceae and Cupressaceae include 8,5,18-labdanetrioI, (-)-labda-nolic acid and (+)-6-oxocativic acid. Numerous derivatives have been found in conifers such as pine (Pinus), fir (Abies), larch (Larix) and juniper (Juniperus).
