Knob mixers work well to eliminate fine striations in color uniformity and thermal gradients. Since knob mixers are primarily distributive mixers, they are not suited for mitigating solid polymer fragments from an incomplete melting process. 

Appliances Air conditioner parts, decorated escutcheons, waisher and dryer instrument panels, washing machine filter bowls, refrigerator shelves, meat and vegetable drawers and covers, blender bowls, mixers, lenses, knobs, vacuum cleaner parts, humidifiers, and detergent dispensers... 

Every track has a number of important controls (see Figure 2.3) on the Track Header portion of the track on the left side. Many of these controls correspond to faders and knobs typically found on a mixer board in a conventional studio. (See the Chapter 7 for more on mixers and mixing in ACID). 

SAN is widely used. Industrial uses include dials, switches, lenses, knobs, and battery cases. Medical applications include dental and medical light diffusers. Within the electrical and electronics area, it is used for CD players, aid conditioner impellers, meter covers, telephone components, and radios. Among consumer products are toothbrush handles, cassette cases, disposable lighters, cosmetic containers, mixers, juicers, and clothes hangers.
