IR and Raman spectra of Ti(OTr)4 showed that there was significant coupling between vC-O and VgCOC modes of the ligand and vTiO motions.The Raman spectrum of Ti4(p3-0)2(p2-OTr)2(OTr)8(acac)2 contains VsCOC of the bridging isopropoxides at 833 cm vC-O and in-phase PrCH3 of terminal propoxides were at 1018 and 1171 cm respectively. [Pg.339]

The IR spectrum of acetophenone adsorbed on Ti02 shows that the carbonyl oxygen is initially coordinated to Ti Lewis acidic sites.The complexes CpM(02CNEt2)3, where M = Zr or Hf, give IR bands of bidentate diethyl-carbonato ligands in the range 1540-1318 cm h  [Pg.339]

The IR spectra of complexes of DMF with MnCl2, FeCl3, C0CI2, NiCl2 or CUCI2 all show shifts in vC=0 consistent with strong coordination via the carbonyl oxygen. [Pg.339]
