IVIS®imaging system

IVIS Imaging System and Livinglmage software (Xenogen Corp). 

After an overnight incubation at 37 °C, screen the plates for bioluminescent transposants using a highly sensitive optical imaging system, such as an IVIS Imaging System. 

IVIS 200 in vivo imaging system (Xenogen, Alameda, CA). 

IVIS 200 imaging system allows for the imaging of up to five animals at a time in one field of view (FOV) (23 cm). The set FOV should remain constant during the study period to obtain consistent images. 

In vivo luciferase imaging Escain (Mylan Inc., Tokyo, Japan), D-luciferin and In vivo luciferase imaging system (IVIS) (Caliper Life Sciences, MA). 

After 10 min, luciferase expression was observed with in vivo luciferase imaging system (IVIS). 

After the mice are fully anesthetized, transfer the mice from the induction chamber to the nose cones attached to the manifold and place them on black paper inside the imaging chamber of the IVIS system. 

When animals develop visible tumors at the site of cell implantation, approximately 12 days after cell implantation, obtain bioluminescence images of the animals in the ventral position using the IVIS system (Fig. 14.2A). Remove outlier animals with tumors larger or smaller compared to the majority of mice and randomize the remaining mice by bioluminescence intensity into one of the following two i.p.
