Intersect method

Write ionic equations from now on whenever it is possible. Use the intersecting method as described in Rules 1-8 on page 104. Do not, however, neglect to give the explanation in words in addition to the equation. 

An intersection method is employed, where essentially a first guess or estimate of the value of, say, rx is made and the rearranged copolymer equation used to calculate values of r2 for each value of x and > You end up with a set of straight lines which should intersect at a point defining the actual values of and rv but generally don t. You have to use some method for picking the best point within an area of intersection (Figure 6-11).

VBA can create references by using methods that are the equivalents of the union operator or intersection operator described in Chapter 3. The Union method creates a reference that includes multiple selections, e.g., A1,B5 or G3 L3,G5 L5. The syntax of the Union method is Un on range1, range2).
