Quantitative results are given in the following three Tables (Tables 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3). 

They provide information on the time (expressed in terms of the dimensionless time D-t/L, L being the total thickness of the package or bottle) necessary for given values of the amount of contaminant (expressed in terms of the amount of contaminant in the liquid food as a fraction of the amount initially in the recycled polymer layer, M/Mjn) to be released in the food, with various values of the dimensionless number R defining the convective effect at the package-liquid interface. 

From these tables, the effect of the convective transfer at the package-liquid food definitely appears in a quantitative manner.
