Intercalation compounds grafted-type

Herein are described the preparations of the charge-transfer-type intercalation compound FeOCl (pyridine derivative), of grafted-type intercalation compounds FeO(OCH3) and Fe0(02C2H4)1/2 and of some organic intercalates of HTiNbOs. [Pg.86]

Nanocomposites prepared by 2-step melt compounding were to obtain intercalated structure. The X-ray diffraction patterns showed the improvement in dispersion through intercalation of clay according to the type of the compatibilizers and the presence of comonomer. GMA modified polypropylene which was one of the compatibilizers gave a better properties of the nanocomposite with respect to the balance of FM and IS. Nanocomposites with comonomer (styrene) increase grafting yield and reduce Melt Index, and show better mechanical properties in case of comonomer of 1 to 1 ratio of monomer. [Pg.620]
