Intellectual property rights TRIPS agreement

The need to exploit opportunities imder the exemptions and flexibilities offered hy the Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) agreement has led the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), amongst others, to establish relevant programmes.
