Under all conditions, the capability to provide simultaneous heat and power provides substantial advantage for the microgrid system relative to the conventional system. The ability to effectively manage an H-APS to efficiently match both heat and power demand, including seasonal factors and unexpected events, is also key to the success of these systems. Installing technologies appropriately sized to deliver necessary heat and power as efficiently as possible will maximise benefits relative to conventional alternatives. 

Usually it is effective to install an interlayer between Ti-base metal and the layer of Sn02. The interlayer possesses different behavior that depends on the structure and the installation technologies. In our lab, several kinds of interlayers are designed (You et al. 2004 Cui et al. 2005 Feng and Liu 2006 Feng et al. 2006) and some achievements have been achieved (Table 14.1). 

Tires with the proper installation technology can serve a variety of applications in the construction industry as marine reefs, energy-efficient house construction, highway bank reinforcement, and erosion control.
