INDEX generation

The formation of adducts through a Schiff base mechanism was the basis to assess the reactivity of the seven model compounds with this new technique. The reactivity index generated with our method was consistent with those reported by Benet et al. [26] and Bolze et al. [27] (Table 10.3), which validated this technique to evaluate AG reactivity. Schiff base adducts of AGs and proteins were obtained from the literature for TOL, ZOM, and DCL... [Pg.306]

This series of studies of the variation of the Phosphorus Emission Index generated from several applications of the special Noack instrument has been effective in revealing some of the characteristics of the phosphorus volatilization from ZDDPs made from a primary and a secondary alcohol. Thus, the primary objective of this study has been met. That is, it has been shown that phosphorus volatilization and the associated PEI are affected strongly by the chemistry of the ZDDP. Whether or not these differences are caused by thermodynamic effects and/or some form of steric interference remains to be determined, as well as the range of differences that may exist among the different alcohols. [Pg.252]

Achieve the journal indexing, generating the proper format, for which, a formal commitment is required of all the branches for sending papers which will increase the number of annual reviews. Explore the possibility of parallel editing in digital format, which lets us provide a complete index and the first page of the article. [Pg.96]

Figure C2.5.10. The figure gives tire foldability index ct of 27-mer lattice chains witli sets containing different number of amino acids. The sets are generated according to scheme described in [27], The set of 20 amino acids is taken as a standard sample. Each sequence witli 20 amino acids is optimized to fulfil tire stability gap [5]. The residues in tire standard samples are substituted witli four different sets containing a smaller number of amino acids [27]. The foldability of tliese substitutions is indicated by tire full circles. The open diamonds correspond to tire sequences witli same composition. However, tire amino acids are chosen from tire reduced representation and tire resultant sequence is optimized using tire stability gap [5]. Figure C2.5.10.
