Gastrointestinal The most frequent adverse reactions reported with incretin mimetics are gastrointestinal symptoms. These include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, which occur in 10-15% of patients, are dose-related, and tend to abate during the first few weeks of treatment [54 ].
