Pragmatic implications

Cometabolism merits, however, careful analysis since important metabolic principles underlie most of the experiments, even though confusion may have arisen as a result of ambiguous terminology. An attempt is therefore made to ignore semantic implications and to adopt a broad perspective in discussing this enviromnentally important issue. A pragmatic point of view has been adopted, and the following examples attempt to illustrate the kinds of experiments, which have been carried out under various conditions. 

Societal development requires use of chemical substances with pragmatism, as well as proper and good management. The users of chemical substances must be well aware of the implications of improper use of a chemical substance by itself or in combination with another chemical. In fact, all chemical substances are toxic and there is no absolute safety. It is the manner of use of a chemical substance that brings either good or danger to the user, to the immediate workplace, and to the society at large. 

Accreditation is mainly concerned with routine tests or analysis. It includes the use of reference materials (e.g. LRMs or in-house RMs) for control charts which are hardly available on the market it is hence timely to start producing RMs for routine analysis in high quantities and at low cost for those measurements which have a major economic importance in relation to social and environmental implications as mentioned above, such a production should follow minimum quality requirements to avoid commercialisation and use of bad quality products which would only add to confusion. There is obviously a need to focus/consolidate technical expertise for CRM production in a few centres of excellence and actions should be stimulated to create a possible network of CRM producers which should be composed of practitioners , i.e. experts in both the production of CRMs and the respective analytical fields, so that questions arising from routine laboratories could be readily and practically responded to [44] while efforts made by metrological laboratories to create a system of metrology in chemistry are certainly important, these are far remote from the needs of routine laboratories which, however, carry out the vast majority of analytical work worldwide. In the penultimate scene of the play, scene 8, which follows the murder of the Dummy, the character of Jack appears again, ffe surveys the devastation of the under room and reflects upon its causes and implications. It might not seem surprising that empirical parameters are not unique, but there are two important implications. The first is purely pragmatic it implies that the parameters are not strictly transferable between different systems. Thus, one should not mix-and-match parameters from different sets of work, and one should not simply add parameters for a new guest molecule onto an existing set. Instead, any extension of the parameter set should be accompanied by a complete re-optimisation of the whole set. 

When mentioning the content and research method of context, Andrew Jamision (2009) indicated that the context of engineering includes economic, social, and cultural contexts, and Sylvain Lavelle (2009) pointed out that context may be studied from analytic, phenomenological, and pragmatic perspectives. The Hawthorne experiments do not mean that only humanity or morale is important while context is unimportant for practitioner s activities.
