Implementation of a company-wide balancing system

Implementation of a balancing system with reconciliation represents a serious change in the operation of a process plant. At the beginning, the team is usually set up to solve following problems  

It is advantageous if IBS is incorporated in the conq)any process information system from which it imports primary data. IBS then creates and maintains its own database of raw and reconciled data from which data can be exported to further processing. 

All non-paper forms should be easily viewed or printed via the PC network. 

The implementation of the balancing system with reconciliation changes the information flows in the company significantly. After the transition period when many problems had to be overcome, the following items are appreciated 

Especially important is the relation of reconciliation to instrumentation maintenance and improvement (gross errors identification). If the feedback to instrumentation staff is not established, one of major advantages of reconciliation is lost.
