Igniter cord connectors ensure a safe transmission of the sparking combustion of the igniter cord into the gunpowder core of a connected safety fuse. [Pg.241]

An igniter cord is a safety fuse which burns at a fast rate (6-30 s/m) and with an open flame. The cord can be lit by an open flame or with by a conventional safety fuse (guide fuse) a connector. Its function is to ignite the cords in the desired sequence. [Pg.241]
