In 2002, the Council for Education in Pharmaceutical Medicine (CEPM) was inaugurated by IFAPP with the objectives, inter alia, of contributing to the harmonization of existing postgraduate courses in pharmaceutical medicine and promoting mutual recognition of equivalent educational qualifications between countries. [Pg.20]

The large number of national associations of pharmaceutical physicians worldwide are coordinated by the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians (IFAPP). This Federation concerns itself with various global aspects of the specialty, e.g. the International Conference on Harmonization. A conference on pharmaceutical medicine is held every 2 years. [Pg.16]
