In order to address some important bottlenecks of conventional drug-delivery systems, this chapter section represents a collaborative effort to explore the mechanism and attempt to find a molecular-based solution for relief, cure or control for several negative consequences of xmcontrolled free radical damage at the molecular level, which is still relevant in biological systems, and more specifically, in the disease states (e.g., oral mucositis and cancer).
