Horticultural items

Different horticultural items made of biodegradable polymers, such as plant pots, seed/fertilizer tape and binding materials, foams and nets for erosion control, offer reduction of system complexity by reducing the number of work steps. 

Horticultural appHcations include use of greenhouse thermal screens, rowcrop and turf covers, conveyer belts to process agricultural products, and other similar items. High performance fibers are not normally used in these appHcations, but high strength fibers are preferable for conveyer belts. Environmentally inert low cost fibers such as polypropylene are used for many of the outdoor horticultural appHcations. 

The purpose of this book is to provide the user with concise reference information on various legal psychotropic materials. These include plant materials in their crude hebal form, and chemicals either synthesized or extracted from natural minerals. For each item there is a brief description of the material, the method of preparation, dosage and use, analysis of active constituents, effects, contraindications (side effects, dangers, etc.), and names of commercial suppliers. The latter are given as letter codes. The corresponding names and addresses are to be found in the section titled "Suppliers." Because of increasing interest in horticulture of psychotropic plants, sources of seeds and live plants are also given.

Biodegradable polymers are also used in agricultural plastic items which are designed to be left and biodegraded in the field after their use.
