The major consumer of tantalum is the capacitor production industry. About 60% of the total amount of tantalum currently produced is in the form of fine, agglomerated high purity powder of capacitor grade. Tantalum capacitors have high volumetric efficiency and reliability. A basic description of tantalum capacitor technology is presented in overview [19]. 

Abstract. Microencapsulation is widely use in industry but remains relatively unknown from the public. The reason is that microcapsules are not an end-product, but generally a technique to overcome process limitations. Microencapsulation allows immobilization, protection, release and functionalisation of active ingredients. Despite the high diversity of methods, this paper proposes a classification and description of the main technologies to produce microcapsules. 

Description Suspension crystallization of paraxylene (PX) in the xylene isomer mixture is used to produce paraxylene crystals. The technology uses an optimized arrangement of equipment to obtain the required recovery and product purity. Washing the paraxylene crystal with the final product in a high efficiency pusher-centrifuge system produces the paraxylene product.
