Groundwater monitoring measured parameters

Monitor indicator parameters (pH, temperature, conductivity, ORP) in a flowthrough cell every 1-2 minute (min) during purging. At the same frequency, monitor dissolved oxygen and turbidity. Record all measurements in the Groundwater Sampling Form. 

When the well depth or diameter is unknown or a water-level measurement is not possible, purging should be carried out by pumping the well for a pre-determined period of time (e.g., at least 30min). Measurement of groundwater parameters should be monitored at intervals during the purging process and at the time of sample collection (Figure 3). 

Every surface and groundwater station of the network should be thoroughly studied in order to understand the hydrological system of each station (what is measured ) and determine the parameters that should be included for each station in the routine monitoring. Points to be studied are...
