Neptune s atmosphere has distinctive visible strac-tures, including cloud bands, spots (similar to spots that are storms on Jupiter and Saturn), and methane ice clouds. Cloud bands circle the planet at given latitudes. Spots are stormy areas that have connter-clockwise rotation as a result of shear between clond bands. The Great Dark Spot occnrs at about 20 degrees south latitude and the Lesser Dark Spot at abont 50 degrees south. Methane ice clouds are white and appear approximately 31 mi (50 km) above dark spots, but do not rotate with the spots. 

Figure 3 is a high-resolution image of a Si(l 11) in NaOH. It shows that the surface has a great chemical homogeneity and that the STM may have some chemical sensitivity. With the exception of a few sSi-OH [14] visible (white spots), which represent only 0.1 % of atomic sites, the surface is indeed (1x1) H-Si(lll). That =Si-OH appear as protrusions surrounded by a dark ring comes from an increased local density of states and a three-dimension (3D) potential distribution induced by the large... 

C — central layer (zone) light grey in colour with a great number of relatively large white spots in the centre of the plate. 

Not infrequently, small white spots may be seen on the top of the villous folds which may ooze a milky fluid if biopsied. These result from stasis in the fine lymphatic vessels of the villi and are a rather common but nonspecific finding and of no great significance (Patel and DeRidder 1990). This condition is reported in patients with severe disorders, primarily those causing immunodeficiencies such as malignancy and AIDS. 

Observed since 1831, the Great Red Spot is larger than the Earth. It is a persistent anticyclonic storm located south of the equator. The oval rotates counterclockwise with a period of six days. Jupiter has also white ovals (cool clouds) and brown ovals (warmer clouds)—these smaller sized storms can last for hours to months. 

Color Adults in ocean or Great Lakes are steel-blue to slightly green on dorsal surface, sides brilliant silver, ventral surface white, small black spots on back, sides above lateral line, base of dorsal fin, and upper lobe of caudal fin. 

The observation of a color change is facilitated by spotting a sample on a solid white surface, e.g. an RP-18 TLC plate surface. Upon drying a blue spot develops if the colloids are linked by biochemical interactions, otherwise the spot appears red. Silver enhancement kits - well established in biochemical research - greatly increase the sensitivity of the reaction. 

White vinegsr. Use undiluted as a spot-treater on suede items on other fabrics, it s great for beer or berry stains.
