GRASS imaging

The pre-LCM (i.e., pre-Filmix ) GRASS images showed no delineation of the 7- and 14-day tumors. The post-LCM T2 -weighted GRASS images showed one or several dark focal regions (area ranging from 0.11 to 1.29 mm2) at the location of the tumor, but not elsewhere in the normal tissues within the field of view. 

The handoff managanent animation is shown in the Fig. 4. The car shown is a 3D MAX object imported in openGL [10]. The pyramid primitive is used to represent the base station. The ground is texture mapped with the grass image. The camera position could be changed to get the aerial view of the screen. Soft hand over and hard hand over are illustrated by animation.
