Government inspections, organic process

Under the new standards, before a food can be labeled as organic, a government-approved certifier must inspect the farm where it is grown to ensure that it was raised according to USDA organic standards. In addition, companies that handle or process food labeled organic must be certified. [Pg.4]

The reliability of electronic systems depends on extensive testing, inspection, and evaluation of all parts of the design and manufacturing process, including the adhesives used in the systems. Test methods for adhesives and adhesive-bonded assemblies may be generally classified as physical, electrical, environmental, thermal, mechanical or thermomechanical, and chemical (Table 7.1). This chapter summarizes most of the methods used to test and evaluate adhesives used in electronics. It is not intended to provide detailed instructions, but to lead the reader to the appropriate government or industry specifications, documents that are available from the various organizations listed in Table 7.2. [Pg.346]

The report to be prepared after each inspection shall only contain facts relevant to compliance with this Convention. The report shall be handled in accordance with the regulations established by the Organization governing the handling of confidential information. If necessary, the information contained in the report shall be processed into less sensitive forms before it is transmitted outside the Technical Secretariat and the inspected State Party. [Pg.98]
