Glucocorticoid remediable aldosteronism

The measurement of these compounds in urine is essential for the study of Cushings disease, glucocorticoid remediable aldosteronism (GRA), apparent mineralocorti-coid excess syndrome (AME), and related conditions. While RIA has been generally satisfactory for serum cortisol assay, urine contains many crossreacting steroids, rendering RIA unreliable.
