Global response quality

Environmental stewardship, with quality, health and safety, are all definable processes that can yield immense benefits from management systems. Academia, owner and contractor companies and suppliers will be judged not only on the value they deliver but also on their ability to protect and improve the world. No longer are chemical engineers just working on a finite task they must broaden their view and set the benchmark for global responsibility. 

In a similar study, Petrie et al. (1982) studied the effectiveness of halo-peridol and loxapine in the same type of patients. The conclusion was that, although the improvement of the psychotic symptomatology was evident, the global improvement of life quality was not that evident. The authors suggested that the medication response in elderly patients with dementia and psychotic symptoms was much inferior to the one observed in young patients with schizophrenia. R. Barnes et al. (1982) carried out a similarly designed study and found an improvement in only one-third of the treated patients. However, that sample was oriented not only to psychotic symptoms (delusions and hallucinations) but also to disruptive behaviors in general.

The global nature of the food supply and world food trade have made food quality and food safety international issues. Hence, since its inception, the World Health Organization (WHO) has been working toward the improvement of food safety. In partnership with the Lood and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (LAO), WHO provides for the Secretariat of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC). The latter Commission is responsible for all matters pertaining to the implementation of the Joint LAO/WHO Lood Standards Program.
