Other new aporphines are (+)-hernagine (8), found in Hernandia nym-phaefolia (Hernandiaceae),10 (+)-bulbocapnine JV-metho-salt (9), obtained from Corydalis cava (Fumariaceae),11 and glaufidine (10), which is present in Glaucium fimbrilligerum (Papaveraceae).12... [Pg.118]

Glaunine (67) and glaunidine (68) are two new oxoaporphines from Glaucium fimbrilligerum (Papaveraceae).47 Arosine, found in G. flavum Cr. var. vestitum, must be identical with glaunidine, while arosinine, from the same source, possesses structure (69).48 Oxidation of the aporphine corydine with iodine and... [Pg.128]

A total of five other new aporphines have also been found and characterized, including isocorytuberine (9), dehydrocorydine (10), and corydine JV-oxide (11), all from Glaucium fimbrilligerum,13 laetine (12), from Litsea laeta,H and anaxagoreine (13), from Anaxagorea dolichocarpa and A. prinoides.15... [Pg.136]

Slavik and Slavikova showed that the content of alkaloids in Glaucium fimbrilligerum is closely related to the species G. elegans, G. oxylobum, and G. squamigerum (205). (—)-Isocorypalmin (58r) was found not only in O. fimbrilligerum but in Bocconia frutescens and Roemeria hybrida (see Table II). Until now it was only isolated from P. somniferum as a minor component. This alkaloid is, however, commonly found in the botanically and biochemically closely related tribe Fumarieae. [Pg.513]

Chelerythrine, C2oHi704N-H20, has been isolated from Ch. majus (1, 5, 6), Sanguinaria canadensis L. (7, 8), Bocconia arborea Wats. (9), the roots but not the leaves of B. cordata Willd. (10, 11, 12), B. pearcei Hecht. (13), EschschoUzia calif arnica Cham. (14), and Glaucium fimbrilligerum Boiss. [Pg.254]
