The lead isotopes in the acid residue of plagioclase glass ( 570), which was shocked to 34 GPa, were not different from those of the starting plagioclase (Fig. 7.1). This indicates that the lead isotopes of plagioclase were not affected by lead from the stainless steel, even if transformation into diaplectic glass occurred (>26 GPa, 24]).
