Genotyping polymerase chain reaction amplification

DNA amplification (mostly by polymerase chain reaction, PCR) and other subsequent DNA analysis (including hybridization, sequencing, and genotyping) have been facilitated by the use of the microfluidic chip. These applications are then described in detail in subsequent sections.
