Genin cardenolide

Am leichtesten deutbar sind noch die Spektren der freien Genine. Cardenolide, die wie das Digitoxigenin (266) Hydroxylgruppen in der Stellung 3 und 14 enthalten 6>, geben ein charakteristisches Bruchstiick der Masse 203, C15H23 (267), das das ABC-Ringsystem enthalt.

D In UV-365 nm, however, a spectrum of about 20 blue fluorescent zones from Rf 0.05-0.95 is. seen, with a specific dark-blue fluorescence of lanatoside A and purpurea glycoside A. Green (vis) or red (UV-365 nm) zones at Rf 0.85 are due to chlorophyll, and yellow zones at the solvent front are due to flavonoids or anthraquinones (e.g. digilutein), which to some extent overlay the cardenolide genins.
