Der von diesen Autoren angegebene numerische Wert ist % = 2,87 1021. Er bezieht sich auf den Fadenendenabstand und auf die Dimension dl/g fiir den Staudinger-Index und ist somit mit dem Faktor (6)3/2 - 100=1469,7 zu multi-plizieren, um den Zahlenwert fiir diese Konstante in der Dimension (mol Makro-molekul)-1 bezogen auf den Tragheitsradius zu erhalten.
