Frame grabber card

The fourth module is the control unit, consisting primarily of a state-of-the-art industry PC equipped with a suitable frame-grabber card for image frame acquisition, spectral and spatial real-time data evaluation and control of subsequent actuators or communication with process control systems. 

The schematic of the experimental setup used for the analysis is shown in Fig. 2. A laser source (633iun red laser) illuminates the bum tissue phantom and the resulting speckle pattern was imaged by a CCD camera. The speckle pattern is digitized by the frame grabber card and processed on the computer using the developed software.
