Footnote Indicating SAS Program and Date

Another common request for SAS output is that it have a footnote showing the name of the program that produced it and when it was produced. In the UNIX environment, you can use the following SAS footnote to get the program and datetime stamp  

This generates a footnote in your SAS output that might look something like this  

The Microsoft Windows footnote would look like this  

Please note that the Microsoft Windows footnote populates SYSIN only if the program is run in batch mode.
