Human Resources is responsible for informing new employees who are assigned to the designated work areas of the safety shoe/foot protection policy and the procedures for obtaining the equipment. The new employee is responsible for reporting to his/her first day of work wearing approved shoes/foot protectors.

Until recently, hearing protectors have not delivered a functional solution to hearing protection, because they haven t allowed workers to hear while remaining protected. Imagine if eye protection glasses didn t allow you to see, or foot protection boots didn t allow you to walk. Would people really use this protection ...
