An interaction is said to occur when the effects of one drug are ehanged by the presence of another drug, herbal medicine, food, drink or by some environmental chemical agent. Much more colourful and informal definitions by patients are that it is. . when medicines fight each other.. . , or .. . when medicines fizz together in the stomach. . or .. . what happens when one medicine falls out with another.. . ...
